I'm grateful to St Pat's for the opportunity to display 19 paintings

in the exhibit space that connects the Hospital to the Broadway Building.

They will hang from Jan 2 through March 31, 2026.

The easiest way to get there is to park in their free parking garage on

the west side, take the elevator to 3rd foor, take a RT and

continue straight, where you will come to the exhibition space.

I'm so pleased to be back in Montana where I grew up. I'm a graduate

of MSU School of Art in Bozeman and after 43 years away in WA

it feels like I'm back home where I belong.

The image for this pastel painting is a result of a family snowshoeing trip 

to southwestern Montana in March.

It was a stop the car moment, as I loved the colors and the feel of fresh 

clean mountain air of Big Blue Sky Country, my homeland.

The show opens May 1st at the Cole Gallery in Edmonds and

closes June 2nd with a reception and awards ceremony May 10th.

 These are the results of a fun day of art-making at a friend's studio.  

Five of us, working with all different materials, intuitively painted

with paper.  We are a mix of tapestry artists, painters, weavers, 

drawers, knitters and mixed media artists.

JEONJU HANJI INTERNATIONAL FASHION SHOW

 I am pleased to have been invited to lend my painting image to a South Korean

clothing designer through Korean artist Patsy Suhr O'Connor.  Along with 4 other artists from the US, and 29 others from around the world, our art was incorporated into fashion designs and published in a beautiful catalog,

Painting During The Pandemic

 I've been away from pastel for a bit, while 

experimenting in ink and watercolor.  I seem 

to have carried over that intuitive mark making 

that I relish so much, strokes too exciting to 

cover up.  It was a joy to combine it with 

bold passages of pastel.  I'm hooked.
