It's always an honor to be featured with such fine artists from around the globe.
If you have a chance to pick up a copy, I'm sure you'll enjoy a variety of work in

Peninsula Art League 2015 Open Juried Show
Not An Ordinary Moment Of Existence
I entered one small piece in this show. Sometimes it takes as much or more time, energy and intense engagement to produce a small painting as it does a larger one. This is one of those pieces. I got caught up in the abstract shape of the marks. Mark making has always been of interest to me. It's definitely something that's best kept in the privacy of my studio though. Laying down a mark, walking away to view it from a distance, talking to myself, another mark, you get the idea. Often I'm asked why I don't teach workshops. Chloe, our recently deceased cat is the only one who could have truly answered that.
Come and join us for the Reception at the
Harbor History Museum
4121 Harborview Drive
Gig Harbor, WA 98335
Sept 12, 6-8pm
The exhibit will be up from Sept 12- Oct 18, 2015
I'm so pleased that this little painting received a cash donor award at the show.
